Know your teacher

With 25 years of experience as a performer and 15 years of experience as a teacher, Ivan Fritzen is an accomplished violinist.

He began his musical studies at the age of 5 and holds a bachelor's degree in violin and a master's degree in musicology.

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated his versatility by performing with classical orchestras, as well as with rock, country, and jazz bands.

One of the most notable highlights of his career was his participation in a concert by Icelandic singer Björk in São Paulo, which took place during the Primavera Sound Festival.

He is the author of a book on indigenous chants in northwestern Argentina, and he founded the Baxtale! - Romani Music Research Group and the Hungarian Band of São Paulo.
